Nelson , Kurt Herbert 91 Dec. 08, 1924 Nov. 07, 2016 Kurt passed in Tigard. Kurt is survived by his wife of 67 years, Sylvia Ruth LeValley; children Donald Nelson (Suzanne), Ann Olive (Paul), and Debra Sewell (Alex); as well as grandchildren, Kristen Nelson and Helen Sewell. Kurt was born in Helsingborg, Sweden to Harry and Anna Nelson. At 4 months age he immigrated and then eventually settled in Portland. Kurt was a decorated (Bronze Star) WW2 Army Corporal, serving in Europe. After the war, Kurt was a respected Analytical Chemist. Services at 11 a.m. Nov. 16, 2016 at Lincoln Memorial Park.
