I'm so sorry to hear of Julie's passing. She was a solid part of the 7-Eleven team on the west coast for many years. Loved working with her. For many years our offices were next to each other in Portland.  Oh the stories. Rest in peace Julie.

I am so sad to hear about Julie's passing. I worked for Julie in the late 80's and 90's. In fact, she promoted me to be her assistant and I have her to thank for my long career at 7-Eleven. She was much more than my boss; she was later my counterpart, my mentor, and my friend. She understood 7-Eleven's complicated franchise accounting system better than anyone that I ever met and she never failed to take time to educate me or anyone else that needed her expertise. 

When she retired and moved back to Portland, she left her 7-Eleven life and many of those relationships behind. She was moving forward with her life. Those of us that have retired since then have followed her example. I did have an opportunity to re-connect with her coming out of the pandemic and those conversations were priceless. 

I miss her smile, her gentle countenance, and her soft-spoken approach. Our world is diminished by her loss.
