Julia was born on July 3, 1935 in Portland, Oregon to Cecil and Opal Loftin. She had an older brother and sister. She grew up in NE Portland attending Vernon Elementary School and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1953.
Julia raised her family in SE Portland living in the same house for 57 years! She worked for Providence Hospital in the business office for 24 years, retiring in 1998. She enjoyed her time traveling with family and friends to places like Mexico, California, Hawaii and Virginia to visit her sister.
Julia loved the Oregon Coast and spent a lot of time there with her family. When she was 80, her grandson took her to Disneyland for the first time. She went on quite a few rides, including Indiana Jones!
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard W. Moore; her three beloved sons, Neil G. Robbins, Douglas B. Robbins, & Richard D. Hanberg; her brother, Douglas Loftin; and her sister, Nancy B. Miller.
She is survived by her daughters, Nanci T. Young & Denise M. Moore; son-in-law, Troy A. Young; daughter-in-law, Beth Robbins; and her many grandchildren & great grandchildren who she adored.
Julia had a kind heart and was loved by everyone who knew her. She was the best mother and grandmother anyone could ask for. We are all so lucky to have had her in our lives. We loved her so much and she will always be in our hearts.
