It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Juan Carlos Cifuentes, who departed this world on December 3, 2023, in Grand Lake, Colorado. Born on February 22, 2003, in Vancouver, Washington, Carlos lived a life that exemplified integrity, and love. Carlos, a beloved son, brother, and friend, leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories and a profound impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him. He possessed a courageous spirit and an unwavering commitment to his values.
Carlos is survived by his devoted parents, Yara Aguilar and Maximiliano Cifuentes Sr., and his siblings Alexandra Abrego, Maximiliano Cifuentes Jr., and Alyssa Abrego. He also leaves behind his loyal companion, Bentley, who brought him immeasurable joy and companionship throughout his life. Educated at Harney Elementary School and later graduating from Ridgefield High School. He later continued his educational pursuits at Spartan College, where he pursued his passion for mechanics, honing his skills and embracing the artistry of the trade.
In his leisure time, Carlos found solace and inspiration in the great outdoors. Whether he was embarking on challenging hikes, engaging in recreational activities, or conquering the heights of mountains, he reveled in the beauty and serenity of nature. Additionally, Carlos had a deep appreciation for sneakers, recognizing the craftsmanship and uniqueness they represented.
A traditional memorial service will be held to honor the life and legacy of Juan Carlos Cifuentes at Zeller Chapel of The Roses, located at 2107 NE Broadway, Portland, OR 97232, on December 16th, 2023.
