Joel Hall Chamberlain passed away on August 26th, 2017 at the age of 81 in Portland, Oregon. Born January 15th, 1936 to Everett and Dorothy Chamberlain in Worcester, Massachusetts. Joel served in the air force from 1954 to 1958. He was married to Claudia Ames in July of 1991, they met while Joel worked for Goodyear: as a blimp pilot for 32 yrs, retiring in April 2001. His favorite activities included flying, golf and traveling. He traveled to Europe as well as his yearly trips to Mexico for Thanksgiving with friends. He is preceded in Death by his father Everett H Chamberlain and mother Dorothy M Chamberlain. He is survived by his wife, Claudia Ames, Kenneth Chamberlain brother and wife Ruth of Mass., sister Diane Bonner of Calif. And several nieces and nephews.
