Jim was born in Portland on June 24, 1934. He graduated from Benson High School.
He was married to Jane Felix on September 22, 1956 and shared over fifty years marriage together until her passing in 2011.
Jim worked for the Oregon Steel Mill where he was a crane operator. After his retirement he could be found enjoying a cup of coffee and making friends at the Sellwood Starbucks. Jim also enjoyed travelling around the world to many far off destinations. He especially enjoyed his time spent in beautiful Hawaii.
He is survived by his children Steve Felix, Scott Felix, and Sandy Feeny; and his siblings, Bill Felix and Linda McMahon.
A visitation for Jim will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lincoln Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 11801 SE Mt Scott Blvd., Portland, OR 97086. Followed by a funeral service and committal on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 12:00 PM.
