James E Williams Sr.

James Essel Williams Sr. was born December 27, 1916 in Mountain Grove, Missouri to parents John Milton Williams and Anna Belle (Upshaw) Williams. He grew to early adulthood there completing grade school. James met and married Opal L. Andrews from Ava, Missouri March 15, 1941. He worked for Epler Dairy Farms and ,after coming to Oregon, for the Beaverton School district. James worshipped at Banks Grace Fellowship, and enjoyed leatherwork and woodcraft. He was involved with the Oregon Trail Wagon Train for 16 years, and enjoyed games of horse shoes, volleyball or softball.

A visitation will be from 9:00 am to 2:30 pm on Friday 12/16, at Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday 12/17, in Banks Christian Fellowship, 100 Ne Main Banks, OR. James is survived by his sons; James E. Williams Jr., David K Williams, Samuel D. Williams and Daniel G. Williams; a daughter Donna S. Huntley; three sisters; Della A. Dooms, Jesse M. Miller and Faye Swibes; 15 Grandchildren and 25 Great-grandchildren.
