Jacqueline Lucile Horton

Jacqueline Lucile Horton was born on August 26, 1928 in Omaha Nebraska to Albert and Lucile (Jones) Huntzinger. On August 5, 2014 she passed away peacefully at her home in Portland Oregon surrounded by her loving family. Jacqueline loved getting together with family for the holidays and was loved by all who knew her. She was always worrying about the people around her and never asked what was in it for her. There wasn't a person who met her that didn't immediately like her. She enjoyed taking cruises and tending to the roses and orchids in her garden. She had a passion for cooking and baking for her family. Jacqueline had embraced technology by using her iphone and ipad to keep in touch with family through facebook and was known to spend much of her time using the computer for genealogy research. She was preceeded in death by her husband John Nathan Horton and her parents. Jacqueline is survived by her three children; Dave Horton, Debi Brewer and John Horton; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
