She was born in Portland, Oregon on February 19, 1932. Jacqueline Rose Meyer graduated in May of 1949 and received her nursing license (LPN) in San Diego, Cal. She was married to Lawrence Gellings in May of 1950.
Jacqueline worked as a nurse as well as the owner of Jackie's Daycare Aloha. She had a passion for family, friends, reading, work, and helping single mothers with children.
She was survived by children Richard (Michelle), Christine Shonk, David (Jessica), Raymond (Julie), Donald, Gayle (John) Urban; grandchildren Marleen, RJ, Shelly Ray, Jessica, James Robert, Jonnieanna, James, Danielle, Valerie, Laura, Mackenzie, and Connor; and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marianne DeHaan.
Jacqueline was laid to rest at Lincoln Memorial Park.
