Jack David Lasure Sr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and proud Air Force veteran, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, at the age of 94. Born on May 27, 1930, in New Martinsville, West Virginia, Jack was the beloved son of Hobert Lasure and Mary Lasure (Swiger).
Jack dedicated his life to service, both to his country and to those he loved. As a proud member of the United States Air Force, he served with honor and integrity, embodying the values of duty, strength, and perseverance. His commitment to his country was only matched by his unwavering devotion to his family.
A man of quiet strength and gentle kindness, Jack had a loving and calm demeanor that left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a skilled craftsman and an exceptional finish carpenter, as a cabinet maker. His meticulous attention to detail and passion for his craft were evident in everything he created.
Jack now joins his beloved wife, Juanita Marie Lasure (Dopher), in eternal rest at Willamette National Cemetery, a fitting tribute to a life well-lived and a love that endures beyond time.
He will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. His legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will continue to live on in those he leaves behind.
