Ida Sue Becker

Ida graduated from Woodruff High School in Peoria, Illinois. She was employed by Caterpillar Inc. in Peoria and then shared the responsibilities of farming with her family. She was the loving wife of Charles L. Becker for 62 years and the beloved mother of two sons and a daughter. She lived her life of deep faith and was a member of Second Baptist Church. She loved her Sunday school class and her friends with whom she shared her encouragement and inspiration with a wonderful sense of humor. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and arts and crafts.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Goldie Vaughn and William Bryan Vaughn; son Dr. Stephen Vaughn Becker; son Charles Louis Becker; Son-in-law John P. Favaro; and her brother Bill Vaughn.

Ida Sue leaves behind her family to cherish her memories; her daughter Patricia S. Favaro (Beaverton, OR); daughter-in-law Karen Becker (Decatur, IL); four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister Frances Marie Allen, age 95 (Creve Coeur, IL).

A memorial will be held at a later date.
