Helen lived a long and happy life. She was born in Seattle and came from meager beginnings that never slowed her down. Married to Frank Vodka for 39 years until his passing. She traveled around the country with her family and Frank while he was in the US Air Force, settling in Portland after his retirement. That put the travel bug in her. Always finding a place to visit and a way to get there. After her youngest was in school she started volunteering in their school, which led to full time position as a teachers aid in a special Ed classroom at Sunnyside grade school. She retired in 1997. Helen also loved going to the movies with family and friends. She was an avid bowler most of her life. She loved to write poems and short stores and take photos. She was also an avid reader. Her family was the joy of her life.
She received a kidney transplant on Christmas day 1997. A gift she would cherish for 13 years.
Helen (Rosie) was preceded by her Husband Frank in 1994 and her Brother Robert Moore in 2006.
