She was born in Saskatchewan, Canada and passed away here in Portland. Mary attended business college in Portland, and after graduation became one of the first female department managers at Sears Roebuck Co. where she worked for 17 years. She was preceeded in death by a daughter, Grace Elizabeth, who died of leukemia in 1953, and by her husband of 41 years Harry C. Jorgensen who passed away September 28, 2008. Mary is survived by her son Dr. Jim Eller, his wife Cherrlyn, grandson Christopher and his three children; Sophie, Evan and Michael and one granddaughter Izabel Grey. She is also survived by a daughter Jo Jorgensen and Stepson Tim. private services were held at Skyline Memorial Gardens Friday September 28, 2012.
