Harold “Sonny” Vogel, 95, of Portland, passed away May 22, 2014. He was born on June 28, 1918 to Jacob and Cristina (Dorsch) Vogel. Sonny was a proud WWII Navy Veteran and was one of the owners of Vogel Brothers’ Sanitary Service. Generous, sociable and always sought out the good in people are just a few words that defined his life. Sonny was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Ruby Vogel; brothers, Reynold and Jack Vogel; and sisters Bertha Woodson and Marie Sinard. He is survived by his sister Leah Hahn; and many nieces and nephews.
