Gloria Jean Stevens Darling was born on December 4th, 1943 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Inez and Chauncy Stevens. She was then raised in Sheridan, Oregon. Gloria was the third oldest of her six siblings: Donald Stevens, Larry Stevens, Dwaine Stevens, Joann Stevens and Dennis D'Angelis.
Gloria married her husband Paul Darling on November 23rd, 1962 in Sheridan, Oregon. Gloria worked as a Hair Dresser and Manicurist for The Port of Beauty Salon and The Holgate Center Odd Fellows Retirement Home, She later worked at Wicks & Sticks Candle Shop located at Clackamas Town Center.
Gloria and Paul lived in Portland, Oregon and raised three wonderful children: Lori Ann Price, Debbie Darling-Hansen, and Brian Darling. Gloria was a real animal lover and was dedicated to the ethical treatment of all animals, in her SE Portland neighborhood she was the person that took care of a group of feral cats feeding them daily and getting them spayed, neutered, medical attention and found help for lost of injured animals.
Gloria is survived by her husband Paul, four siblings: Larry, Dwaine, Joann, and Dennis, three children: Lori, Debbie and Brian, three grandchildren: Scott Price, Timothy Price and Rebecca Price, four great-grandchildren: Grace, Maddison, Wyatt and Merry.
