Eva M New

Born in Detroit Kansas, the second child of Claude and Jessie Probasco. In 1931, along with her brothers and sister Weller, Elsa, Irene, and Raymond, they moved to Hebron, Nebraska for one year then moved to Eckley, Colorado where she met and married Lawrence New. In 1937, she and Larry moved to McMinnville, Oregon. In 1952 they moved to Beaverton to be closer to his work where he worked for Bonneville Power Administration as a civil engineer for 31 years.

After her husband's death she moved to Salem to be near her daughter Carol. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence and daughter Lorna Goedel of Newberg, she is survived by three children Robert of McMinnville, Carl of Goldendale, WA, Carol of Salem, 10 Grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, one sister Irene Dunham of Aumsville OR and many nieces and nephews.

Eva will be privately laid to rest in Skyline Memorial Gardens, 4101 NW Skyline Blvd., Portland, Oregon, in the garden of the Good Shepherd.
