Elijah Junior Johnson Jr.

He graduated from Dunbar High School in 1957. He was very smart, very popular, and played the trumpet in the school band.

He attended Junior College for a short time after his enlistment ended in the Marine Corp in June 27, 1962.

Elijah Johnson and Barbara Wood were married in California May 14, 1960. From that union 4 children were born.

Throughout his career he held a variety of positions including car salesman, postal clerk, VA mail clerk, and found his niche in mainframe data processing at EDS.

Elijah is survived by Robert J Johnson (Catherine), of Farview Oregon, Karla Y Johnson of Portland Oregon, Charmaine B Johnson-Draughan (Rodney) of Dallas Texas, and Elijah Johnson III (Rhianna) of Vancouver Washington, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and a host of Brother and Sister in-laws, nieces and nephews and friends.

He will be missed dearly.

Elijah will be laid to rest in Resthaven Cemetery, Lubbock, Texas.
