I was born December 1, 1938 in Portland, Oregon, the son of Darrell and Hazel (Barrett) Marks, and I passed away in Portland on November 1, 2018 at the age of 79, after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease.
I was a graduate of Linfield College’s business school, and worked for thirty years for Skil Bosch Power Tools, eventually reaching the level of Sales Manager.
I married Judith Ann Mizer in Portland, Oregon on September 4, 1957, and we had three wonderful sons:
Scott, his wife Ann, and their children Carter and Garritt; Andy, his wife Victoria, and their children Katelyn, Ashley, and Lillia; and Darrin, his wife Diana, and their children Miranda, Madison, and Levi.
I will also be missed by my brother Marvin Marks, his wife Marcia, and by two nephews and two nieces, Connie, Gary, Ted, and Janet. Ann and I could not have been more blessed: We had the love and support of family and wonderful, fantastic friends. Everyone will know where to find me - I will be smiling down from Heaven until we meet again.
My life will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at 12:00 pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd. in Portland, with a reception to follow. Burial at Lincoln Memorial Park will be private.
