Dorothy passed away peacefully at home on June 10th joining her
husband of 48 years.
Dorothy was born in Yakima Washington. She moved to Portland after marrying John Connell. They raised five children while Dorothy also worked as a medical receptionist for Kaiser Permanente for over 30 years. She is survived by her children: Michael, Debra, Daniel, Thomas and David; sisters Carolyn and Sharon; daughters-in -laws, Amy and Kathleen; granddaughters, Ashley, Bridget and Lindsay; sister-in-laws, Patricia, Cecelia and Ivonne and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Celebration of Life: Saturday June 22nd at 1:00pm at Gateway Advantage funeral home and cremation.
The family wishes to thank Kaiser Permanente Hospice for their wonderful care and support. In leu of flowers, the family request donations to Hospice.
