Don Richard Michael, Sr. of Milwaukie, OR, age 79, passed away December 16, 2022, surrounded by family. He was born on October 15, 1943, at Ft. Huachuca, AZ.
After three years in the Army and a brief stint in the insurance industry, Don transferred to what he really enjoyed: truck driving. Don never met a stranger; he was always friendly and inclusive, responding with a smile to all. He was a member of Rose City Park United Methodist Church, the Elks, the American Legion, and other organizations, serving in various roles, including leadership.
Don is survived by his wife Karen, 9 children, numerous grand and great grandchildren, his brother and sister-in-law Rand and Phyllis Michael, along with nieces and cousins. Don was preceded in death by his parents Thomas W. Michael and Ruth Parker Michael.
