Dianna L. Murphy passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2011. She was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. Dianna was the owner and accountant for her trucking company, Interstate Heavy Hauling, as well as the owner of her bar, Club Venus in Portland. She was a workaholic, but also enjoyed trips to Seattle and playing Texas Hold ‘Em poker in Las Vegas. Dianna was crazy in love with her dog Bear, and her cat Thomas.
She is survived by her son Tate Smith, granddaughter Andrea Smith, great grandson Jaxen Hankel, and her beloved aunt Florence. She was preceded in death by her husband Jim Murphy, son Roy Smith, and brother Charles Peterson. She was a wonderful mother, a strong friend, and a true friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 1:00pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Committal to follow at 2:00pm at Lincoln Memorial Park.
