Cronin, David A., 77, of Portland, OR died December 1, 2016 at home surrounded by family and friends. Born in Boston, MA he graduated from Stonehill College. He retired in 2001 after working 25 years as telecom and software manager for Poloroid Corporation. He leaves a legacy of love for his family, and will continue to be an inspiration to those who were fortunate to know his compassion, humor, courage and love of life. He is survived by Pat, his wife of 40 years, his children Maura Lopez, Joanne Cavill, and Kathleen Gobel, 8 grandchildren, and his siblings Catherine Carmody, Francis Cronin, Margaret Farina and Mary Cronin. Funeral services will be held on December 9 at 12:30 at Holy Redeemer Church, 25 N Rosa Park Ave., Portland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Reverend Francis E. Grogan, CSC, Scholarship Fund.
