A longtime Beaverton and Portland, Oregon resident, Cora Arlene Stiles passed away Sunday, May 26th 2019. Services will be held at Finley Sunset Hills Mortuary at 11am on June 14th. Arlene was born April 9th, 1940 in Klamath Falls, OR. After graduating from High School she went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Oregon in 1963. After that she would complete her Masters in Nursing at OHSU. Arlene married Bill Stiles in 1976 in Washington County and the two of them would eventually adopt two sons; Eric Mathew Stiles in 1981 and Craig Andrew Stiles in 1982. She was a loving and caring mother who despite many adversities and losses in her lifetime never became bitter or lost her sense of optimism. She simply loved people and was kind and caring till the end. She also loved to travel and made many friends throughout the years, many of whom were by her side to comfort her as she made her transition. She is survived by her son Eric. She was preceded in death by her son Craig and husband Bill.
