He attended elementary schools in San Carlos, CA and graduated in 1986 from Sequoia High School, Redwood City, CA. He earned a BS degree in Architecture the University of Oregon in 1992.
After college, he worked at the Lane County (OR) Housing Authority. For over the last 10 years he had been an Associate at Tiland & Schmidt Architects, Portland, OR, where he designed many shopping centers, both locally and throughout the northwest.
He was a great fan of Lego and had an enormous collection. He had a site on Bricklinks, where he sold pieces of Lego to an international clientele. He enjoyed Monty Python. He also enjoyed playing and designing overlay maps for the video game Fallout.
Chuck is survived by loving parents Douglas and Nancy Oliver, of San Carlos, CA, and loving sister, Elaine Oliver, of San Leandro, CA.
A Celebration of Life is planned for February 27, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Parish Hall of St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 178 Clinton St., Redwood City, California.
