Charles Wilburn Goodman was born May 18, 1928 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Charles Wilburn Goodman, Sr and Evelyn (Ketchum) Goodman and passed away in Portland, Oregon on January 31, 2016 at the age of 87.
He lived in Arkansas until his early twenties, when he joined the Merchant Marine, followed by honorable service in the US Army. He married Margaret Richlitzky on December 7, 1957. Mr. Goodman owned and operated a construction company before retiring in 2001. He was an avid painter, a great admirer of Thomas Kinkade, and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and baking. He was strong in the Lord, and for many decades worshipped at Moreland Bible Church. In 2002, Margaret passed away. He married Linda Adams in Portland on December 20, 2002 and they had many happy years together. She survives him, as do his children Randy Goodman and James Goodman, stepdaughters Veronica Claxton, Ruth Klint, Anna Hellar, Kristin Odam, and Katherine Williams. He is also survived by nine grandchildren. Charles was preceded in death by his two sisters.
