A memorial Mass was Celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, in St. Therese Catholic Church in Portland for Carl E. Hollingsworth, who died Jan. 23 at age 73.
Mr. Hollingsworth was born Dec. 27, 1932, in Pittsburg, Kan. He was raised in Kansas and served in the Air Force. He moved to Portland in 1952 and was an electrical engineer for Tektronix. In 2000, he married Emily Wise.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Debra Furrer, Carol Wade and Linda Dawson; sons, Robert and Roger; stepsons, Steve Buchanan, Jerry Buchanan and Dan Buchanan; sister, Shirley McConnell; and 14 grandchildren.
