My name is Doris Hughes Green. I’m so sorry for your loss. Brenda E, was a beautiful woman and I’m going to miss her. She’ll always leave a spot of love in my heart. We met in Radio when she drove down from Oregon every Sunday to teach about God’s love on the air. I’m going to miss her. I didn’t know she was ill. Praying for the family. God’s strength! Amen.

I would like to send my sincere condolences and prayers to the Ellison family. I worked with Clark for many years and knew his wife was a pastor, but never had the honor in meeting her. Our deepest condolences to the family in this very difficult time.  Brenda were our neighbor of 4 years and I feel so very lucky of getting to know her and became a friend. My heart is truly broken. Brenda was a loving, friendly, kind and a beautiful woman inside and out. When I drop by to share sweet goodies that I baked or some token I got for her from our trip, I was taken by her passion and kindness. We could fill up the whole neighbor with our laughters and her welcoming hugs and appreciation. I will forever miss you my good friend, Brenda. Not so long ago Brenda what I saw in her and asked if I would tell others of who I thought she was. I promised I would, so here it is in a nut shell.
In Brenda Louise Ellison, I saw the most beautiful woman of YHWH that ever was. She was a true light and vessel of the Holy Spirit in this dark world. She had a love for YHWH that no one can put into words. She was more than just a friend. She was the embodiment of
1 Corinthians 13:4-8
4 She was patient, she was kind. She did not envy or boast, she was not proud. 5 she did not dishonor others, she was not self-seeking, or easily angered, she kept no record of wrongs. 6 she did not not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 she always protected, always trusted, always hoped, always persevered.
My Brenda was my loving, trustworthy, ally. A true blessing in all that she did and taught as I'm sure she was to anyone blessed enough to have met her. She was a kind, generous, vivacious, outspoken leader who lead by example. I am truly honored to have been her a protégée.

Now with the absence of my twin Soul Sister in my life, there's a void that cannot be filled. I am eternally greatful for her willingness to share her faith, her family and her world with me. I will miss her greatly, but find peace in knowing I will indeed see her again. Until then Miss Brenda, I love you more

We want to express our deepest condolences to the entire family. There aren't words to tell you how much we appreciated the beauty of this amazing woman.  I remember the bible studies she conducted at my house every morning.  And the crazy dinner  she prepared for us.  I  say crazy because she had every food group anybody could have possibly wanted. And all of it was wonderful.  even though I hadn't seem her for a while. I will miss all the random pop ups that alway kept us in the present.  You will be missed my sister. My sincere condolences to the Ellison Family. May God’s peace comfort you during this time and forever. My heart is truly broken. I had the privilege of meeting this amazing woman of God when I moved to Oregon in 1997.  Though I had moved back to Oklahoma, we  have continued to remain friends and Sisters in Christ through the years. We talked about a month or so ago, had a long conversation,  little did I know that would be our last.  I will miss you and always love you , but God love you more. Rest well my friend.❤️🙏

In a time when I know I should be rejoicing because she is exactly where she would want to be…with ABBA. Our minds and hearts just  don’t work like that. You will forever be missed Momma 😢.

All we ever wanted to do was make a difference. Momma Brenda  taught me so much and had a huge influence on my life. She will forever hold a special place in my heart ❤️.

We were neighbors for more than a dozen years. I loved her and she said she loved me more. We went to the coast and I delighted in getting us all look alike jackets. Brenda was the happiest, deepest, and most loyal friend I've ever had. I learned so much from her and loved her completely. My heart is broken because I am going to miss her so much. We would stand in the middle of the street in our bathrobes and hug and say how much we loved each other. Even at the beginning of March she texted me to see how I was doing. What an amazing soul. My privilege was getting to know her. God bless you, love, and may the angels surround you with beauty, song, and love.
