Beverly Joyce Hunt

Beverly Joyce Hunt, 86, of Portland, OR passed away June 15, 2018. She was born in Portland to Herbert and Verla Knope and was raised an only child. Beverly graduated from Jefferson High School in North Portland and continued her education at Vanport College. She married Robert James Hunt and together they raised one son, Brian. Robert passed away in 1983. Beverly was an active member of the St. John Lutheran Church and she enjoyed animals, shopping, traveling and spending time with her close friends. Beverly also spent many years volunteering in the gift store at Legacy Emanuel Hospital. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents’ and husband. She is survived by her son, Brian; and daughter in law, Rachel. A celebration of life gathering will be held at St. John Lutheran Church in North Portland on July 7th 2018 at 2:00pm.
