Anne-Marie Larsen passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from complications of liver failure. She had a long battle with rehabilitating herself after a hip injury which was then further hindered by her diagnoses of liver disease 1 1/2 years ago.
Anne-Marie was born in Seaside, Oregon on May 13, 1963 to Gerald and Nancy Larsen. She grew up in Keizer, Oregon and moved to Portland in 1974.
Her father was an educator and a Lutheran pastor and Anne-Marie followed her father in acquiring a thirst for knowledge. She graduated from Reynolds High School a year early in 1980 and then went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from Portland State University with a degree in English and History.
Anne-Marie Larsen is preceded in death by her father, Rev. Gerald Ellswood Larsen. She leaves to cherish her memory, mother Nancy Pritchard. Sisters, Cynthia L. Larsen and Valerie Larsen Birch. Nancy's husband, Gordon Pritchard and his son Scott Pritchard.
