My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Nurse Amber. We have lost not only a wonderful individual but also a most amazing and selfless Nurse. Not only was she smart, caring and passionate as they come, she also put herself in harms way helping her patients and paid the price with several COVID infections, for example. 
She also took care of her Aunt when needed.
She admired her Mother’s strength and wisdom.
She missed Dallas, loved Nurk and her Blazers, had a touching tattoo tribute to her Grandmother, proud of her multi-cultural heritage and had wonderful plans for her future.
She understood the political threats against women’s health and was going to find a way to get involved.
I was glad to be a part of journey returning to Hospice Nursing. I was touched when she told me that she was wearing the Hospice Nursing pin I gave her when she made it back to Hospice.
There is so much more that we all can say. I will ask the family if they would like a longer tribute from me. My number is in her phone as well as our text conversations.
I take comfort in that I will remember the wonderful good that Nurse Amber had done for her patients. That’s what she would want from me.

I am heartbroken over the loss of such a special human. So many of us loved Amber and her kind, compassionate spirit. I'm am so sorry for your loss of such a beautiful girl.

Amber’s authentic, caring actions always mean so much to me and created some special memories:
-volunteering to serve food for Pathways groups and sometimes saving me a leftover cookie or a chocolate mint ball 🍪
-getting to chat whether celebrating Rebecca’s bday at Darcelle’s or other social gatherings or during her amazing support at benefits 🎉
-learning about her love for Holsteins, Dallas, and pretty much all dogs and cats 🐾
-so many Blazer convos, sometimes eliciting joy and that unique laugh or moments of “Why?!?!” 🏀 : )

An abundance of kindness and love to Cheryl, family and friends…💜

Amber always greeted me with a smile and kindness. I am so grateful to have known her and to have witnessed the deep and beautiful love between her and her devoted mother Cheryl. I loved hearing about her work offering so much care to others, and about of all her travels and adventures. My heart is holding everyone whose hearts and lives are woven with hers.

Amber and I were very close for many years and referred to each other as best friends for a long time. She was my first roommate and we shared many happy memories together. My deepest condolences to her family. I will always remember her with so much love 💜.

She loved this purple wig and occasionally wore it on our adventures to the bars downtown.  💜

Amber convincing me to sing Karaoke with her. Eventually there was a large group of us up on stage singing together. We always had a great time.

Amber was a smart, caring and compassionate  person.  I have so many fond memories of her that I will forever cherish.  My heart goes out to her family in this difficult time. She truly was a beautiful human being.

My condolences to all Amber's family and friends. We had a lot of mutual patients (Amber a nurse and me a social worker). I always loved when I had mutual patients with her. She was extremely hard working and dedicated to her patients.  I always admired her running habit and we both had a dark sense of humor.

Dear Amber’s family,
I am so shocked and sadden to learn of Amber’s passing. I worked alongside Amber in Hospice as another RN CaseManager. Amber always impressed me with her dedication and her deep compassion for her patients. She was also very willing to go the extra mile and help her coworkers any time they asked. What a light has been lost. She is just gone too soon.  I’m aware no words are enough right now, but  I stand  beside you in our  fellowship  of grief.
