Alice was the second of Mary and Clifford Bramblett’s three red-headed daughters. She was an excellent student and thrived in business studies. After graduating from Milwaukie High School in 1939 she accepted a scholarship to attend Oregon State College for two years. After World Word II she moved with her husband Bill Denny and their young daughter to Coos Bay, Oregon to raise their growing family. In 1962 she relocated her tribe of five children back to Milwaukie, Oregon where she lived the remainder of her life.
Alice spent 22 years with the Iron Worker Local 29 Credit Union retiring in 1986 as the manager. Alice will be remembered for her sense of humor and for the love of her family. She enjoyed family gatherings, spending time on the Oregon Coast, and tending to her garden. She was an avid fan of the Oregon State Beavers and Portland Trail Blazers. Alice is survived by her five children: daughter Susan DePaolo and her husband Mike, son Bill Denny and his wife Karan, daughter Mary Jo Sycks, daughter Vicki Obrist and her husband Phil, and daughter Betsy Keuscher and her husband John. She will be remembered by her eight grandchildren: Amy, Nicole, Zachary, Wendy, Jessica, Sara, Jacob and Joseph and her 14 great grandchildren. Alice is survived by her two red-headed sisters: Katholyn Collins and Bonnie Mascott, both of Milwaukie.
