Alden Julius Rondeau "Al" 80 of Portland, passed away Dec. 19, 2011. He was born to Julius Rondeau and Francis Sparks Dec. 18, 1931 in Devils Lake, ND. Al graduated from West Linn High School where he was student body president. He received a business degree from Oregon Tech at Klamath Falls. Al was involved in several businesses and active in the URS Club. Al was married to Joyce Schaber in 1951. They later divorced. He married Sharon Smyth Schloe in 1987.
Al is survived by his wife; and three sons, Allen of Tacoma, Wash., Mark of Albany and Jim of Springfield; 13 grand-children; two great-grand-children; two stepchildren, Chris Schloe of Washougal, Wash. and Kellie Birkinbine of Vancouver, Wash.; sister, Linda Rondeau of Portland; and brother, Dan Rondeau of Coupville, Wash. Al was very proud of his Native American Heritage. Donations can be made to the United Recovery Service Club
