Thomas Richard Toomey

He was born in Somerville, MA on March 10, 1949 a son of the late Francis "Frank” and Marie (Vigneau) Toomey. Tom was raised in Woburn, MA.

Tom worked for Raytheon Company in Waltham, MA where he retired after 30+ years. He was a kind man with a big heart; he enjoyed bowling, horseshoes, tinkering with cars, playing cards with many friends.

He passed peacefully surrounded by Family and friends.

He is survived by his two daughters Colleen Toomey, & partner Christoper Czifrik of NH, Heather Toomey of MA and a stepson Jason Power of MD. He also leaves his sister Jean Toomey Woburn MA and brother Francis Toomey & wife Lena of LA as well as many close friends and family including his first wife Elaine (Pratt) Toomey, nephew Corey Toomey, niece Nicole (Toomey) Haggerty, close friend Todd Wells & his wife Carol and of course his beloved cat Scoop. He was also the brother of the late Gerald Toomey.

A Private Celebration of Tom’s life will be held at a later date and time.
