Ruth Elaine Talpey

Ruth Elaine Talpey was a caring mother, grandmother and friend. Ruth passed peacefully the morning of Mother’s Day on May 8, 2022 at the age of 89. Ruth was a native of Wells, ME and lived in San Diego, CA for a large portion of her life before retiring back to Maine. Ruth retired as an office manager for Gus Ballas Plumbing. Ruth was a devoted and loving mother to her 10 children and was an avid animal lover.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Clinton and Anna Ricker (Boston); her husband William Talpey; her first husband, Guy Beaulieu; two children, Marc and Cheryl Beaulieu and a grandson, Guy Coombs.

Ruth is survived by five sons, Dana Beaulieu (Paula) of Bakersfield, CA, Brian Beaulieu (Becky) of Bethlehem, GA, Matthew Beaulieu of Limerick, ME, Richard Talpey (Arianna) of Royse City, TX and Michael Talpey of San Diego, CA; three daughters, Elaine Boynton (Charles) of Hillsboro, OR, Denise Marby of Limerick, ME and Pamela Gess (Tim) of Terre Haute, IN; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and sister Judy Adams (Stanley) of New Harbor, ME.

A graveside service is scheduled for both Ruth and her daughter Cheryl Rachael Beaulieu; (8/17/1962 - 3/10/2021) on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at 11:00 am at Ocean View Cemetery, 1485 Post Road, Wells, ME 04090.
