He was the son of Renate and Rudolf Casparius.
Rolf grew up in the Portland Riverton area. He spent summers on Highland Lake, his favorite pastime during his younger days was waterskiing.
He was an aviation enthusiast, and had earned his pilot’s license. Unfortunately heart issues kept him grounded. He diverted his interests to traveling to unique places around the world; BVIs, Germany, Russia, India, and Peru, and also cruised around the coast of South America.
Rolf has many interests including being a Mopar guy, on weekends cruising in his Dodge Challenger SRT8. He was an avid photographer, and movie and music buff, and enjoyed his creations in the kitchen.
He was a tech guy and a master of his trade in the plumbing and heating business as part owner of our family business Rudi the Plumber.
Rolf was kind, level headed, and humorous. He will be truly missed by his family and all who knew him.
A special thank you to Maine Medical SCU # 4, the team was wonderful.
Rolf is survived by his sister Martina Casparius, his nieces Monika and Marena Baldwin and grandniece Alayna, his brother Norman Casparius and his wife Lisa, his nephews Alex Casparius and his wife Anna, and Erik Casparius and his wife Morgan, his grandniece and nephew Addie, and Cooper; his sister Andrea Casparius, his niece Tedi and nephew Rudi.
