Ray was a salesman for Eastern Beauty Supply, Co., and D&A Associates of Portland. He was kind, loving, and devoted to his wife Connie and all his family. Through years of rehabilitation after she suffered a stroke, they together provided strong support to survivors by directing a stroke recovery group in Portland. After her passing Ray lived at St. Cyr Court in S. Portland, then at Countryside Assisted Living in Buxton, and then recently transferred to, as a veteran, to the Maine Veteran’s Home in Scarborough.
He was a jokester and a prankster and loved to needle friends and family alike. Yet even after the joking, he was an intelligent voice of reason and always provided a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Our heartfelt memories of Ray will remain forever and he will be sadly missed.
