He was born on April 5 1940 and was the son of the late Fredrick and Miriam (Smith) Jepson. He was a graduate of Nashua High School. He enlisted into the United States Coast Guard and served for 6 years.
He was employed by Nashua Corporation for 27 years. He also drove school bus and limousine. He worked for the Nashua Board of Public Works as a truck driver for many years.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 3 of Nashua N.H.
After serving in the Coast Guard, he fell in love with the ocean and was able to live in his dream home on the beach for 20 years.
He is survived by his son Philip Jepson II and his wife Stacey of Moultonborough N.H, stepson Jason Lamontagne and his wife Lynne of Merrimack N.H. A grandson Tyler Jepson of Houlton Maine, 2 step grandchildren Beau and Sydney Lamontagne of Merrimack N.H. 2 Brothers Fredrick Jepson and his wife Norma of Milford N.H, Charles Jepson and his wife Jackie of Ashburnham Massachusetts. Sister Norma Brannigan of Redmond, Washington. Sister-in-law Norma Blow of Brookline N.H. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Paul Jepson and a brother-in-law James Brannigan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Monday August 17, 2020 at 2 pm at NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH
