Peter Douglas Howell

He was born in Boston, Massachusetts on November 23, 1948, a son of Arthur E. and Doris E. (Boyce) Howell Sr. He was raised in Billerica, Massachusetts where he attended local schools and graduated in 1967.

After graduating he joined the US Navy. He became an M3 and was training to become a signalman. He served in Vietnam in 1967, 68, 69. He was very proud to serve in the United States Navy.

Peter enjoyed helping people. He took care of many people. He always wanted to join the Red Cross. He was also very passionate about serving the Lord Jesus Christ.

He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, hot air balloons, traveling, yard sales and going to the ocean.

Peter is predeceased by his Father Arthur E Howell, mother, Doris Howell, sister Patricia Howell, Brother Arthur Howell JR and sister Barbra Howell.

Peter’s Survivers are his sister Alice Worster of Lincoln, Me, his daughter Traci Howell of Sanford, Me. Step-sons David Capen of Clayton, GA, Jeffrey Capen of Stow, OH, Alan Capen of Tampa, FL. Grandchildren, Brittney Armstrong of Sanford, ME, Olivia Armstrong of Spencer, MA and Jessica Armstrong of Sanford, ME. His best friend Sonny McFarland of Milton, NH.

His services will be held on July 23, 2021 @ 2:00 pm at the VA cemetery in Springvale, ME.
