Paul A. Letourneau, age 65, of Buxton, Maine, passed away on Friday, March 25, 2022 after numerous health battles in recent years. He was born February 20, 1957, in Rumford, Maine to Phillip Letourneau and Rita (Roy) Letourneau. He graduated from Mexico High School in 1975. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in September 1975 and was discharged under honorable conditions in August of 1976. He was a self-employed flooring installer, who enjoyed doing odd jobs at home and tinkering in his garage on his next big invention. When Paul wasn't tinkering away, he enjoyed spending his free time camping in Jackman, Maine, which was a second home to him. He even built a gold mining sleuth on the back of his pickup truck and would go mining in Jackman. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching the races and displayed NASCAR memorabilia in his garage. Paul loved to tell jokes and stories when visiting with family and friends. Paul loved the outdoors and he enjoyed planting and tending to his vegetable garden and always gave away vegetables to friends and neighbors.
He is survived by his children, Jessica Martin and her Fiancé Heath Morris of Turner, Renee Letourneau of Perth Australia; his son Michael Letourneau of Saco; grandchildren, Briana Campbell and husband Kyle Campbell of Jay, Alison Noniewicz of Turner; brother, Phillip Letourneau and wife Mary of Florida; brothers-in-law Rosaire Chartier of Rumford and Fernand Bellegarde of Rumford and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends. He was predeceased by his mother and father Phillip and Rita Letourneau, and sisters Ann Bellegarde and Priscilla Chartier.
No service will be held as the family has opted to hold a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked donations be made in Paul's name to:
