Pat was born January 26, 1932 in Portland, Maine. She is predeceased by her parents Arthur Joseph Douvielle and Louiza Evelyn Colpritt, as well as her sisters Louiza (Pete) Jones, Jeanette Wormell and Joan Johnson, her brother Ralph Douvielle and a son Mark Tetrault of Westbrook, Maine.
Pat is survived by a sister, Priscilla Knapp of Michigan; her children; Michael and Lea Tetrault of Buxton, ME, Stephanie Orr of So. Dennis, MA, Teresa and Joey Aceto of Gray, ME, Michelle Tetrault of Windham, ME and Jennifer Tetrault of Hollis, ME. Pat was a foster mother to many children providing love and support over the years including; Sean Stevens of Buxton, Blaine and Lorame Stevens of Columbus, Georgia and Donna Neault of Windham, ME.
Pat is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Pat is a veteran of the United States Air Force and was stationed at the Pentagon in the 1950’s. Pat learned to teletype in the military and later became a key punch operator for several companies in the Portland area, including Fairchild Semiconductor, Oakhurst Dairy, Sanborn Trucking, Blue Cross / Blue Shield and Hannaford.
Pat was a lifelong resident of Maine but loved to travel. She visited many places following her siblings, children and grandchildren including trips to Montana, California, Texas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Michigan and all throughout New England.
Pat will always be remembered for her many hours spent knitting baby blankets for her great grand children and afghans for her kids, grand-kids and any one who asked. She also loved making jigsaw puzzles and playing on her iPad.
Pat made friends easily and will be missed by many; particularly her dear friend Rose Hinkley who recently traveled with her to see her sister Priscilla in Michigan and niece Judy in Kansas.
Due to current circumstances a celebration of life will be planned at a future date.
