Michelle Lynn Alden Boothby

PORTLAND - Michelle Lynn Alden Boothby, 31, died Tuesday Oct. 22, 2013. She was born in Portland, on Aug. 18, 1982. Michelle was a graduate of Portland High School, class of 2001.

She took pride in being a Portland alumnus and fondly remembered her days in school, often going back to visit.

Michelle was an active employee at Cracker Barrel Country Store as a cashier and greeted everyone with a smile. She was a loving mother of a five-year old daughter who brought joy to her life. She was a very social person and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, who will miss her dearly.

Michelle is predeceased by her grandmother, Margaret 'Peggy' Russo, grandfather, Stephen E. Dorsey, grandmother, Arlene Alden, grandfather, Francis 'Jake' Alden, uncle, Stephen E. Dorsey Jr., and cousin, Deana Dorsey. She is survived by her mother, Teresa Alden, father, Phillip Alden, daughter, Nikita Boothby, brother, Michael Alden, sister-in-law, Tricia Alden, aunt, Debbie Dorsey, aunt, Patty Montgomery, aunt, Linda Everest, aunt, Cindy Dorsey, aunt, Patricia Smith, aunt, Liz Carter,

aunt Lena Dudley and uncle, Wayne Alden and her many loving cousins.

We will never forget her loving personality and beautiful smile, may she rest in peace.

Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Michelle's uncle Rev. John Scruton officiating.
