She was wonderful cook and baker, making specialty cakes for each occasion. She celebrated each holiday and made them special for her family. Mary loved photography and captured our family memories with photographs creating a legacy for generations to come. Her first camera was a Kodak Brownie and some of her best pictures were taken with it! Mary’s creative flare shined by creating beautiful afghans, rugs, gardens, crafts, cake and holiday decorating. Mary was an animal lover and owned several cats and dogs over the years. Most recently she was kept company by a special Yorkie, “Tony”. Mary enjoyed traveling in her later years going to visit family and finally seeing her family home in Ireland.
Mary loved her home and always welcomed people in a home that always had room for one more to love. Mary was blessed with loving, caring children who helped her stay in her own home until the end of her life. Special thanks to her daughter, Mary Elizabeth, who for many years has overseen day to day tasks for her mother. Special thanks to daughter, Barbara for overseeing her Mother’s care.
