Mary R. Bickford

Portland-Mary R. (Conrad) Bickford age 89 of South Portland, Maine passed away from a brief illness. She was born in Lowell, MA on August 16, 1922 the daughter of Frank H. Conrad and Catherine Lombard. Marry attended Catholic Schools in Portland. She loved sports, especially the Boston Red Sox. She also enjoyed playing cribbage, solitaire, and bingo.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Arthur R. Bickford Sr. and her grandson Jayson B. Nichols.

Mary is survived by her children Miriam E. Nichols of South Portland, John R. Bickford of Portland and Arthur R. Bickford Jr. of Ellsworth, her grandchildren John D. Bickford, Karen M. Bickford, Wallace E. Nichols, Nicole M. Bickford, and Heather A. O’Hallaran, and three great grandchildren Lily V. Bickford, Logan A. and Savannah E. O’Hallaran.

Visting hours will be held on Thursday April 26 from 4 to 7 PM in the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Portland. Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 AM in the Funeral Home with Rev. John Twitchell officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery in South Portland.
