It is with great sadness that we announce Lisa’s death after many years of declining health, October 15, 2021, at Maine Medical Center in Portland. She fought hard to overcome both medical and physical challenges.
Lisa was born in Portland to Philip and Marilyn Hodgdon on October 17, 1963. She grew up in the Deering Highlands area and attended school on Stevens Avenue from Longfellow to Lincoln to Deering High.
She loved her family more than anything in the world. She looked forward to seeing everyone at birthdays and holidays. Lisa’s proudest moment was the birth of her grandson, Jayce.
Anyone who knew Lisa well was aware that she was a longtime, avid 49ers fan and greatly enjoyed rubbing it in to any Patriots fan she knew.
Everything Lisa did was done with passion.
She is survived by her beloved mother, Marilyn, her two sons, Jake Stanton of Westbrook, and Mark Stanton and daughter in law Latoya of Windham, grandson’s Jayce and Camden, whom she loved fiercely.
