Linda M. Jordan

Linda was born in Portland, ME on April 11, 1952 a daughter of Robert Bennett of South Portland and the late Viola Williams, who died on August 14, 2006 and whom Linda was very anxious to be with.  She grew up in South Portland, attending local area schools and graduated with honors from South Portland High School.

Linda worked for UNUM for 38 years as a system programmer, retiring in 2007.

She loved to travel; she and her husband spent the past seven years wintering in Hudson, FL also enjoyed several Caribbean Cruises. 

Besides her husband and father she is survived by her two sons Robert Thurlow and his girlfriend Jackie Kennedy of Westbrook and Ryan Thurlow and his wife Susan of Standish.  She also leaves many step children and step grandchildren as well as a brother Stephen Grovo and his wife Sharon of Westbrook, ME and Belleview, FL and several nieces and nephews.

A private graveside service will be held at Highland Memorial Cemetery, South Portland.
