Lee Kim Wong, 83, of Portland, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 18, 2011. He was born October 30, 1928 in Canton, China a son of the late Daniel C. Wong and Sui Chan. Lee Kim's grandfather opened one of Portland's first Chinese family owned restaurants Pagoda since 1934, four generations.
He enjoyed games of Majong with his friends. Besides his parents Lee Kim was predeceased by his oldest son Hing C. Wong and his grandson Timothy E. Seavey Jr.
Lee Kim is survived by his wife of over 60 years Chung Y. Wong, his daughters: Moon Ping Seavey, Sue Ping Wong, Mimi Yin Smart and his son Frank Wong; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Family and Friends are invited to a time of visitation from 12-2 pm Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at Jones, Rich & Hutchins 199 Woodford St. Portland, ME Following visitation a graveside service will be held at 2 pm at Evergreen Cemetery, Portland.
