He was born on November 6, 1997 in Atlanta, Georgia to William Rios and Inez Burley. He spent his early childhood years living in Ohio, before moving to Maine in 2007, attending schools in Brunswick, Auburn and Lewiston.
Khalil was passionate about everything he did: making music, playing semi-pro football, and especially his two children, who were his entire world.
He was predeceased by his mother in 2000 and his father in 2007.
He is survived by his children, Amaya Nachole Rios and Lamelo Starr Rios, and their mother, Melissa Bennett; his grandmother Kathleen Esprit; Brothers Kenneth Harrigan and wife Bethany, Kevin Prentice, ; Kobe Rios, Karmello Rios, Rayvon Taylor and Korey Rios; Sisters Demetria Davis, Deisha Nesbitt, Brianna Williams, and Rayvionna Taylor; and his aunt Meagan Rios. He also leaves behind several nieces and nephews, an extensive extended family, and friends upon whom he left a lasting impact — he will be truly missed and held dearly in all their hearts.
A memorial will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at East Auburn Baptist Church in Auburn, ME.
