Died Wednesday, April 2, 2025, in Sabattus, Maine.
James was born November 2, 1995, in Lewiston, Maine, to James A. Davis II, and the late Christine L. Smith. He was a 2014 Graduate of Oak Hill High School.
James loved everything outdoors. He especially loved the time spent with his father hunting and fishing. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. James had an incredible memory, which helped him win the state geography bee in 2009. He went on to compete in Washington DC at the national geography bee.
Though he tragically died on a very dark day, he was deeply loved by all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his father James A. Davis II, brothers Jared Davis, and Javen Davis. Paternal Grandmother Fern Davis, Maternal Grandfather Brian Smith. Aunts Sally Davis, Julie Smith, Amber Smith, Erika Jordan, and Cassandra Deguisne. Uncles Jonathan Davis, and Normand Comeau. He was also survived by many cousins, and other family members.
James was predeceased by Paternal Grandfather James A. Davis Sr., Maternal Grandmother Sandra Dube, Uncle Kyle Smith, and Aunt Brandy Smith.
A private service for James is planned.
