SCARBOROUGH - James Edward Benedict 67 of Scarborough formerly of Belmont and Holliston, MA passed away peacefully with his family by his side on the afternoon of January 31, 2016.
Jim is survived by his wife Claire Benedict of Scarborough, ME, his daughters Michelle Taupier of Shrewsbury, MA Keri Cormier of Scarborough, ME and Jennifer Benedict of Scarborough, ME as well as his sister Cynthia Campbell of Nashua, NH and all their families.
Friends and family are invited to attend a time of visitation on Thursday February 4, 2016 from 4:00pm-7:00pm in the Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Portland, Maine. A funeral service will be held Friday February 5, 2016 10:00am at the First Congregational Church 161 Black Point Road Scarborough, Maine. Interment will be at the Belmont Cemetery in Belmont, Massachsetts.
