Jacqueline Grace Lemieux

Madison, ME – Jacqueline “Jackie” Grace Lemieux, 75, passed away on March 13, 2023 at Maplecrest Long Term Care in Madison. Jackie was born on October 12, 1947 a daughter of the late Raymond A. and Phyllis (Dudley) Lemieux.

Jackie grew up in Waterville, ME and attended St. Francis de Sales parochial school and Mount Merici Academy. She graduated from Thomas College and after receiving her teaching degree, she taught at several schools in Maine ending at Thornton Academy in Saco until she retired.

Jackie loved watching the Boston Bruins, working on crossword puzzles and especially watching photos of her family on her digital picture frame. She always looked forward to the summer family reunions.

Jackie is survived by her two sisters, Julie Bureau of Waterville and Mary Mace and her husband Rick of York, ME and her brothers Artie and his wife Linda of Winslow, ME, Paul and his wife Kris of Ogden, UT, Larry and his wife Nancy of China, ME, Dave and his wife Jody of Clinton, ME and Lee and his wife Alli of Kingston, NH. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Jimmy and Bob Lemieux.

A special thank you to the entire staff at Maplecrest where Jackie spent her last two months. Their gentle and kind care for Jackie didn’t go unnoticed and the family is very appreciative.

A graveside service will be held at a later date in the summer.
